HEBER CITY — A crash involving a tractor-trailer truck and two passenger vehicles on U.S. 40 near Strawberry Reservoir killed one person Monday and critically injured another.
The crash happened about 5 p.m. in whiteout conditions caused by falling and blowing snow, according to Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce.
The crash closed the highway for nearly four hours while troopers conducted their investigation and crews worked to clean up the wreckage.
The name of the person killed in the crash was not released, pending notification of family.
