HATFIELD, Pa. – September 8, 2012 (WPVI) —
A single car crash in Hatfield, Montgomery County has left one person injured and has left parts of Route 309 shut down.
It happened around 2:30 Saturday morning on Route 309 between Hilltown Pike and Line Lexington Road.
Authorities say the driver of the car veered off the road, striking a local business sign.
The impact of the crash left one person trapped inside. Firefighters worked for nearly 30 minutes to free that person.
The victim was taken to Lansdale Hospital in critical condition. No word on the victim’s identity.
Parts of Route 309 remain closed in the area, as police investigate.
