One person was injured in a three-vehicle crash Monday around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 1 and Thurston Street in Wrentham that clogged commuter traffic. The victim was taken to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro with minor injuries, Fire Capt. Antonio Marino said. The car sustained heavy front-end damage. The other vehicle was a utility van, and pipes that were on a roof rack on the van hit another car, Marino said. The intersection was the scene of another accident Friday in which a woman was seriously injured when her SUV collided with a tractor-trailer. “We’ve had quite a few over the years there,” Marino said. “We constantly have accidents there.”
