VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — The Washington State Patrol says one person is dead after a crash on Interstate 5 north of Vancouver, Wash., that involved a wrong-way driver.

KATU-TV reports that Trooper Will Finn says a wrong-way driver heading south collided Friday afternoon with a car carrying a mother and three children.

The State Patrol received reports of the errant driver moments before the crash near Battle Ground. That person reportedly was driving alone.

Additional details were not immediately available.
